Preparations

So many things have been going on! But not too many that I wouldn't notice when two of my loves are being sweet to each other! Almost every morning, I wake up to Austin and Abi either watching cartoons together, playing a video game together, or eating breakfast together. Since we've started homeschooling, I notice that Austin and Abi get along so much better, and the obvious, spend more time with each other.

Last week in Austin's science class he made this very neat model of the trachea, lungs, and diaphragm. This week he will do a sheep pluck dissection. GROSS, but I am glad he's doing it. He has learned so much in his science class this year!

In preparation for Abi's birthday coming at the end of this week, Grammy and Aunt Lisha came for a visit and we had dinner together.

Non traditional Happy Birthday at Chuy's. They made Abi a crown of foil and lit a tortilla chip in a scoop of ice cream!
